AFL Goldfields is holding a Mental Health Forum for Coaches to talk about mental health from the effect on the coach as well as coaching players with mental health and recognizing possible signs of mental health issues or behaviour on Monday, July 9 at Bacchus Marsh Public Hall
We are inviting all Senior and Junior football and netball coaches from throughout the region to attend this forum and it is FREE of charge.
The panelists will talk for 10-15 minutes each about their own coaching experiences and coaching or supporting others with mental health. There will also be a Q and A panel to provide an opportunity for coaches to ask questions and share information.
Venue:Bacchus Marsh Public Hall, 207 Main Street, Bacchus Marsh

Time: 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start, finish at 9.00pm

Shaun Sims – Former Premiership Coach – Diggers Rest FC, teacher at Diggers Rest PS
Dr Mandy Ruddock-Hudson – Health & Welfare – AFL Coaches Association
Netball Coaching Representative – (to be confirmed)
Djerriwarrh Health Services will also have representatives in attendance to provide information on the services they offer and will be available to talk to coaches.
